Step 1: SENSATION

We start by feeling the Body. Feeling is the only way we know we even have a body, so it is this feeling that keeps us connected, keeps us grounded to the external. But it is the internal where we must look for all our answers.


STEP 1:

Step 2: EMOTION

Emotion is a messenger. When we learn to feel what the body is telling us, every sensation becomes our teacher and every circumstance becomes a lesson. Emotions are simply the body's reaction to the perceptions of the mind.


STEP 2:

Step 3: THOUGHT

The mind is a librarian. It's only concern is to categorize. It inherently places boundaries on everything, including itself. All boundaries are arbitrary distinctions. The centered mind creates no distinctions.


STEP 3:

Step 4: ENERGY

Energy equals focus and direction. Energy is the force of creation. Energy creates life. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, only transferred.

Step 5: AWARENESS

Awareness is pure attention without judgment. To bring awareness to one aspect of being is to bring awareness to the whole. The secret is learning to perceive the context of each experience rather than identifying with the content.


STEP 5:

Step 6: DUALITY

Yin and Yang. Input and Output. Every experience is a mixture of these two dynamics. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. We spend much energy trying to balance this relationship, but in reality, it doesn't need any help. Both are always true.

Awareness is Now

Awareness, also called mindfulness, is the act of witnessing one's experience from a centered space of pure attention without judgment. To bring awareness to one aspect of being is to bring awareness to the whole. The secret to awareness is learning to perceive the context of each experience rather than identifying with the content. Content is only information, context is what creates all meaning. Awareness gives one the freedom to shift contexts and effectively change the meaning of any experience into a powerful and supportive outcome.

Breath of Life

Breath is the energy of life itself. With every breath the lungs fill with oxygen and the heart pumps this nourishment through out the entire body. Oxygen is the most important nutrient in the body. The body can survive for days without water and weeks without food, but five minutes without oxygen and life is gone. Pranayama means "breath control" in Sanskrit, and is one of the eight limbed path of Yoga. Learning to control the breath teaches one to control the energy of life.

Zen in Motion

BodyJuggling is a daily program of Neuro-Kinesthetic Training consisting of fitness, breathwork, and meditation exercises. This daily practice cultivates a full body awareness which is able to monitor and balance the input of perception with the output of action at every level of being. By systematically learning to feel, focus and release energy in all seven states of being we can discover the effortless awareness and freedom behind every experience. Discovering this inner freedom opens the door to escape from the patterns of addiction, chronic pain, fatique, depression, chronic stress, social anxiety, and attention deficit disorder as well as many other mental, emotional and physical issues.
